Motivational Monday - Passion to Purpose

I have deemed today the start of my new chapter. This summer is the beginning of pursuing my passions. In some ways I have felt this is always what I have been doing. When I graduated from college I desired to tell stories as a TV news reporter. I did this for three years and not only do I have wonderful memories from those years, but also I have built strong relationships with the people from those experiences. Moving forward I choose to use my passion of story in a new way.

Now I will empower others through story. I will begin coaching how to craft a personal narrative and guide people through the rewarding processes of self-authorization. I want to inspire, enlighten and uplift by giving people the tools to speak their truths.

Recently I have been meeting with various professionals in Cincinnati. One in particular mentioned how most successful businesses start with the idea of giving back. He told me once he found out a method to become successful he wanted to build something to share his ideas. Years later he now has an incredibly successful online businesses.

His business sprouted from his passion and I believe if you can find your passion you will find your purpose. Success is bound to follow after that. We are all meant to do great things, give to the world in a certain way. The toughest part is figuring out how. Take a moment to figure out what you love, then use that knowledge and the skills you have to help others.
