Scanning through my twitter feed the other evening my finger suddenly stopped swiping upwards when my eyes caught a glimpse of this image.

Totally cute right? Apparently about 3,000 others thought so too and shared the image.
Our culture has a narrow view of what beauty is. We use products to paint our faces to look a certain way and jump from one diet plan to the next in hopes of having smaller waistlines and thicker muscles. Then when all else fails we go under the knife to carve out our imperfections to become this mainstream idea of beauty.
Not having a nose is anything but mainstream… yet, look how well this little boy is being received through social media. I only hope this type of acceptances remains constant throughout his life.
Why can’t we all embrace our difference? The way I see it beauty is diversity.
