A Little Goes A Long Way

When I made my way to the girl’s locker room after a new yoga class I was trying out, a classmate approached me. “You were my inspiration,” they told me. “I just kept telling myself if she can do all those poses and stretches, I can too.”

I was delighted to hear these words. My mission is to inspire, so the fact that I was approached and told this was very exciting to me. The rest of the day I felt full. (Not full because I had a hearty meal, which I did… apple oatmeal with cinnamon and peanut butter is scrumptious… I HIGHLY recommend it for your next breakfast.) I was emotionally full.

Do you remember the last time someone told you you were doing a good job at work or that your hair looked nice? How’d it feel? I always try to remind myself the power of a compliment. It’s a small act, yet the good it does goes a long way. So don’t hold back, give love freely, I promise you it will make someone’s day… and the love also finds its way back to you.
